~ Love Spell ~
Cast your love spells on Friday, the day sacred to Venus. Your spells will be especially potent in April, the month dedicated to her. You can cast many kinds of love spells: self-love and acceptance, personal beauty, attracting love, promoting love, deepening a relationship to one of commitment, or adding spark to an existing relationship. To attract a special person into your life, write his or her name on a piece of parchment paper and plant it beneath a teacup rose. These lovely plants are sacred to Venus and can be grown indoors or out. Place the rose in your window, preferably in the direction of your loved one’s house. Cup the plant in your hands every day and say:

As your roots deepen
And your leaves drink the light,
(Name of loved one)’s love awakens.
And as you blossom, so
(Name of loved one)’s love will bloom.

[b] Lemon Verbena Leaf Cut ~

Exuding a delightful lemony scent, Lemon Verbena, or Aloysia triphylla, comes from a flowering plant that produces lavender or white hued blossoms briefly in August or September. Quite frequently used in culinary practices, the herb is often used to add a lemon flavor to fish or poultry dishes, and can also be found in flavoring marinades, salad dressings, and numerous other desserts and soft drinks. Tradition and folk lore also hold that Lemon Verbena can be a powerful aid in magick, being of particular use in both protection and love spells. Some wear it in this manner as an aid in increasing charms and attracting the opposite sex, while others wear a sprig around the neck to stop dreaming. It can also be used in addition to other charms, to otherwise increase their power. In more modern herbalism, Lemon Verbena is traditionally used for aromatherapy where it is used to calm and relax, and when its leaves are dried they can retain their wonderful scent for years. This resul ts in it being a popular addition to potpourri as well. Despite these advantages, Lemon Verbena is still perhaps most popular in the culinary world, and is often used to replace lemon zest or in other such practice.

To Do Today: Who of us couldn't use a little of Fortuna's assistance with tax day on the horizon? For a little extra cash, dab your automobile's, bike's, or motorcycle's wheels with almond oil or pineapple juice. Symbolically, this invokes Fortuna's help by keeping money "rolling" in! Also dab your steering wheel similarly--this way you can keep a "handle" on personal finances.

This continues to be an extraordinary time as complications catch us off guard. We may be confused by the blurring of boundaries when the conceptual Aquarius Moon joins fuzzy Neptune at 5:43 pm EDT. Then, the Moon's entry into imaginative Pisces at 9:47 pm confirms our hunch that reality isn't giving us the whole picture. Meanwhile, a befuddling septile from lovely Venus to overindulgent Jupiter makes it even more challenging to know our limits.
